AFNet History

AFNet formed as a result of an epic riftwar which pitched the reformist wesley’s against the old school bitterites.

The war began with the induction of the 2001 undergraduate intake* who invaded and overwhelmed bitternet #aber with their unlawful concepts of communicating in a constructive fashion which chafed with militantly abusive ethos of bitternet.

This resulted in the great netsplit of 2002 when the wesley’s formed AFNET.
