Macedonia

North of Greece and south west of Bulgaria.

Please note: Macedonia is part of Greece and Greece is part of the EU. Macedonia is not so please only refer to Macedonia as FYROM (Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia) to avoid any confusion about the origins of Alexander the Great. I reiterate, Macedonia is FYROM and the real Macedonia is not dirt poor with horse and carts in the streets and areas of charred forest (at least not Thessaloniki anyway). Indeed the mere idea of FYROM holding the Olympics is ludicrous. Pheurgh.
