Pubs

Can't beat the grog and gruel for all your wild hog and ale needs (sells a rather potent yet delicious ale made with heather), pretty good music and a favourite with people at the hostel below - http://www.grogandgruel.co.uk/

To Stay

One of the best hostels shigs has ever stayed in. £14 a night is quite cheap for fort william especially as you're 5 minutes from the station, open all night policy, great lounge to drink and share stories with the other walkers and climbers. I got some great tips on wild camping and abandoned huts and stuff from people there - http://www.bankstreetlodge.co.uk/

Camping, if you want to go to a campsite and have all the amenities, http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2919 is great. £6 a night for a pitch is a bit pricey but if you want to camp near to a block with hot water, good showers, scullery, toilets, etc, you cant go wrong. Directly under ben nevis!!

Wild camping spots

Will include places we found to wild camp later..

Eats

Nevis Bakery on the highstreet is an award winning PIE SHOP!! Seriously i doubted pies could be so so good. Venison, Steak, Haggis, etc pies :D

Etc includes "macaroni". It takes a very special country to think of making macaroni cheese pie.
